Shangri-la Hotel, Shenzhen joins “Run for Love” One Foundation 2011 Shenzhen Mountain Marathon

Shangri-La Hotel, Shenzhen joined "Run for Love One Foundation 2011 Shenzhen (Yantian) Mountain Marathon" held on 18 December 2011. More than 70 staffs from Shangri-La Hotel, Shenzhen participated in this year’s competition. Every participant who completes the marathon will help raise money for the children’s project of the Shenzhen one foundation’s public welfare foundation. Moreover, hotel held a charity counter for selling delicious cakes and drinks, like macaroon, sandwiches, cookies and so forth. All donations will be donated to One Foundation to help the needy children.

“This is a great chance for our staffs to exercise while also raise money for children who are in difficulties.” said Mr. Philip Dewar, General Manager of Shangri-La Hotel, Shenzhen, “and Shangri-La Hotel, Shenzhen always undertakes the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and shows much concern to children in poor situation. We’ll commit to our CSR project and support One Foundation, like their Ocean Heaven Project.”
