The history of The Brown Brothers Milawa vineyard starts in 1885. Today, with multiple vineyards stretching across central and Northern Victoria, the third and fourth generations of the Brown family are involved in the business. The family proudly carries on a spirit of innovation and dedication to quality winemaking, laid down by founder John Francis Brown. In pursuit of ongoing improvement, 100 years after its inception, Brown Brothers opened a mini-winery devoted to research and development of blends and new varietals, such as their ‘Cienna” grape. This ‘Kindergarten Winery’ is home to some of the most cutting edge research in wine varieties and styles today.
The recipient of numerous national and international awards, Brown Brothers wines are now enjoyed in over 30 countries worldwide.
