A great performance on Friday from John on Guitar, harmonica and public saxophone accompanied by Graham on fiddle. The evening started off nice and relaxed with some Johnny Cash tunes and familiar country western themed tunes in Johns unique (slightly warped...no offence John, we love it!) style and soon picked up to a faster pace and eventually evolved into a full singalong as everyone was drawn to the music inside!

A great evenings entertainment that had people rolling on the floor in laughter one minute and then bellowing out Delilah the next...we look forward to doing it all again this Friday!!

I want to share with you some of the impressions I’ve collected so far about China:

Apart from being one of the biggest industrial countries in the world, apart from the fact that it’s offering huge opportunities for jobs and trade; In China, there is something more interesting to look at, which is: “the Chinese Happiness factory”, that, to my surprise, doesn’t produce imitated and copied output, unlike the output of all other Chinese industries :))

There is a unique “recipe of happiness” ready-made and inexpensively offered to the Chinese people.

In my personal opinion, the ingredients of happiness in China are different from those in other countries.

There is a guy in this area named Harvey Shui. He is the manager of "Amigo's" Mexican restaurants in Shenzhen as well as being the manager for what used to be "Beatles Club" at Seaworld Shekou - Now it is called "The Keys Club". I did a singing show for him on January 7th and then another show on Valentine's night. He never paid me. Keeps promising me that he will pay me, but he still has NOT PAID! Do NOT work for this guy. He calls you brother and then never fullfills his end of your deal. BE VERY WARY of this guy. Rory Penland - SInger

For this MP3 Monday, we found a group called Beausoleil. It is a cajun band from New Orleans. This band has been playing in Louisiana since 1975. Check out their albums La Danse De La Vie and L'Amour Ou La Folie (Love Or Folly) which won a Grammy Award.
