Need Information about Visa related

Hi all,I have a resident permit visa that I received through my former employer(it expires in Oct). I no longer work for that employer and I never gave them my passport to cancel it. Im aware that my employer could still have cancelled it even without having it in its posession. So right now I have no idea whether or not my visa is valid. Will it be any problem to stay here and I dont want to have any problems. Any suggestions on what I should do?

I was married with a chinese lady whom married me just to have a man to establish her life,when we fall in relationship that time I was separated but not divorced,after divorced married her in my country,never register in China but born two kids from this wedlock and finally separated and filed divorce in my country,she disappeared after taking one of the kid on the ground that kid is not safe with me and she is blackmailing me for go to law as I had other relationship and she have many proof infect she had cheated me in business and life she bring whole family to live upon my welfare and when I refused to afford them she trying to find excuses like I had relationship outside and for kids she is careless mother, to save the kid from her clutches where do I go?

1-I would like to know,how much is the minimum capital required for a Chinese company ibased in Shenzhen in order to be allowed to hire a foreigner and provide visa Z and work permit(in Shenzhen).

2-If I open a Hong Kong company and plan to live in China, can I get a visa Z and residence permit for living in China.If yes, please send the details cost to me.

Good day,

Currently I am working here in Shenzhen, China.

And planning to move to in Zhuhai, change job.

But my current employer would like to cancel my work visa.

Then if that so I can't able to stay here in China.

I think only the work permit should be cancel.

May I know you thoughts especially HR opinions.

USA citizen- applying in HK for a Student Visa for Shenzhen University

I'm a USA citizen visiting Shenzhen with a tourist visa. I want to apply for a student visa, but I don't want to go all the way back to the USA to apply from there. Can I apply in HK for a student visa to study in Shenzhen University?

Anyone have any experience with this?

Barking dog day and night

There is a dog barking constantly in the complex I live in, but what ever complains we made to the building management office to find the dog and speak to the dog owner able to solve the problem, the management office said that is our responsibility to find the location of the dog (floor and unit) and report to them but, that is impossible because there is an echo in the four building condominium and I believe this is the Buildings management office and the buildings security people's responsibility.

Is any person who knows aChinalaw or any government office or animal right organization, we can complain able to solve this problem?

This dog is in the balcony every day barking and crying from the morning to midnight.

If any comments or ideas are welcome!

Chinese New Year - Annual Leave

Hi,

Our office works Monday to Friday. Every year we face the same problem to sort this out with the employees.

For this Chinese New Year, we closed from 14.01.2012 to 29.01.2012, total of 16 days. We deducted 7 days annual leave.

When I checked before the holidays, it was announced as 3 days Statutory Holidays. However, employees argued that their findings was 7 days official off-day.

Why is it that companies not working on weekends have to compensate 1 day off for public holidays fall on a Sunday?

Please advise where I buy a copy of HR handbook, English version, would be very much appreciated
