China's fast-growing city of Shenzhen opened a human resource liaison office inBrussels on Friday to attract talented European and overseas Chinese job-seekers.
The government said it will offer a package of benefits, including affordable housing, a bonusand social welfare, for talented individuals in finance, culture, life sciences, logistics, newenergy, new materials and other high-tech areas. Read more »
Shenzhen Daily, Helen Deng reported that "TEN foreigners have applied to join Shenzhen’s “Peacock Plan” to work in the city, which will offer successful applicants 800,000 yuan (US$117,000) to 1.5 million yuan in subsidies.
Foreigners account for nearly 10 percent of applicants of the plan from around the world, which began in May this year, according to the human resources bureau Thursday. Read more »
