“Children for Children – Handcraft Class” for UNICEF @ Four Points by Sheraton Shenzhen

A charity event, “Children for Children – Handcraft Class”, aiming at raising funds for UNICEF Check Out For Children(COFC) Program, was organized by Four Points by Sheraton Shenzhen from 13:30 to 15:00 on June 15, 2014 at their Taste Signature Restaurant on the 3rd floor.

The activity aimed to encourage children between 2.5 to 8 years old participating the handcraft class taught by experienced and professional teacher from the local famous parent-child education organization Reading Joy Center. It was completed with parent(s). Interesting stories related to the handcraft was told at the very beginning.

Very fun and meaningful indeed! :)

Bonfire Heart is a charity project of 1 girl cycling 7,000km from Shenzhen, China to Mumbai, India through the mountains and cold of Tibet, the heat of China and India, rough roads and unsafe areas. The 2 charities supported are: Min Ai Disabled Children’s Welfare Center in Shenzhen and AmchaGhar - A Home for Girls in Mumbai

LIVE AID 'Raise the Roof' Charity Concert @ Village Bar & Grill

The Village Bar & Grill hosted a fund raising LIVE AID Concert to help rebuild a home in The Philippines in the aftermath of Typhoon Haiyan.  Tickets went on sale for RMB100 and through ticket sales and a Village donation they managed to raise over RMB16000 that will go towards rebuilding a home in The Philippines. Charity Event @ Four Points: Children for Children (Photos Review)

The activity aimed to encourage children between 4 to 12 years old participating the Dessert Making or Plasticene Molding class, which were taught by hotel Pastry Chef and the local famous Dough Molding Artist separately. There was an exciting competition after the class among them to select the “Little Chef Champion” or “Little Artist Champion”. 

The Langham, Shenzhen Launches a Charity Music Project To Make Kids’ Dreams Come True

The Langham, Shenzhen today (July 23, 2013) officially launched a children’s art charity project – ‘Compose Music Dream’ – as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility programme. The art charity project is a joint initiative between The Langham, Shenzhen and Shenzhen Charity Federation’s Handpicked Love Charity Foundation, and will sponsor talented children from underprivileged families to study at Lang Lang Music World, one of China’s finest arts schools established by world-famous contemporary pianist, Lang Lang.
