Approved by the General Administration of Sport of China, the regatta is held annually and each year it attracts over 60 boats with 600 sailors of more than 20 nationalities to compete in the event, gaining wide attention from sailing community and international media. Besides the race, wonderful cultural events will continue to add the fun of the regatta.

Shenzhen Longcheer Yacht Club, officially established on May 27th, 1998, is one of the enterprises that invest, develop, and operate yacht club earliest in China. In the end of 1990s, yachts entered the vision of Chinese people. Shenzhen Longcheer Yacht Club Co Ltd. regarded “the society is calling us, and we will serve the society” as its management idea and purpose, and began to invest and develop yacht club with the love of the ocean and seafaring. With an initial 317 million RMB investment from Shenzhen Longcheer Yacht Club Co Ltd., Longcheer Yacht Club was designed by the famous American yacht terminal design company Bellingham following the international yacht club standard.
