The China Times reported that "The head of American diplomacy, Hillary Clinton, Monday had been in mainland China for four hours to discuss including the North Korean nuclear issue and rising tensions between China and asian neighbors in the South China Sea.

In Shenzhen, the US officials said Clinton would deliver a broader message to China about U.S. economic stability and raise issues she discussed last week at an Asian security forum in Indonesia. Those include renewed dialogue between North and South Korea, her invitation to a senior North Korean official to visit the United States to discuss the possible resumption of multiparty nuclear negotiations. "
