Shenzhen Daily has an article named "Metro train door opens while running" by Wang Yuanyuan. Descriptions are quoted as below:
"A LINE 4 Metro train door suddenly opened when the train was traveling between Civic Center Station and Convention and Exhibition Center Station at about 6:40 p.m. Monday.
The train stopped 10 seconds later and the door closed automatically, yesterday’s Daily Sunshine reported.
Hong Kong MTR Shenzhen Co. confirmed the incident but said the door opened about 10 cm for about a second. The company was now investigating the cause of the incident with the train manufacturer.
Although nobody was injured, the passengers were all frightened. “It was horrible. I was standing by the door and another girl had her hand on it when it opened,” said a netizen, identified by her Internet name, Smile Yoyo.
Smile Yoyo posted the incident on her microblog and it quickly spread on the Internet. The microblog was commented on by more than 10,000 netizens in one night.
“There were a lot of people on the train and it was traveling fast. The door opened slowly, which caused the girl with her hand on the door to scream. About 10 seconds later, the train slowed down and stopped and the door closed automatically,” she said.
The train started again after about two minutes. “We were all very scared, but there was no explanation on the public address or at the Metro station,” she said.
“I always lean on the door when I take Metro trains to read my newspaper. If this had occurred when I was on the train, I might have fallen out and been killed,” said another microblogger called Planetoto.
Many netizens said they won’t lean on the doors in future but would hold the handrails.
The MTR said that if a door accidentally opened while a train was running, the emergency brake system would stop the train to protect the passengers."
