Position – team leader

In this role I was trained in all aspects of permanent health insurance , I gained experience in various fields such as sales , computer systems and onto management. I was responsible for my section to deal with customers and agents requests and process the clients application from start to finish.

At these two uk companys I have done various roles again using my knowledge of electronic products and the medical industry I have also been working for them overseas in china which I have gained lots of valuable business knowledge on how Chinese business works. I have done lots of sourcing, quality control , production management, sales, new business, cost saving, negotiating and consulting. I also need to find new products for the uk market and from my market research I need to keep upto date with the fast changing market in Europe.

sourcing -

i have worked for uk companys sourcing various products from factories all over the guandong district of china, this includes finding suppliers , visiting factories , negotiating prices with suppliers for the client, i have had experience with furniture also for the uk market this was in the shunde area where i have a good network of factories and suppliers

quality control -

i have good knowledge of quality control and inspect goods from factories for the uk and european market so I’m very familiar with the high standards that our customers require, I have my own quality control checks and systems depending on the product.

design / engineering -

i have a basic background of design and engineering as I have been working along side a uk company in shenzhen and have recently been working on setting up a new production line for medical products for the uk market, this involved buying machinery , working from drawings , finding suppliers of raw materials, setting up and making tooling and basically producing a product from start to finish which i was the project manager.

cost saving / consulting –

I am asked often to get better more competitive prices out of our suppliers in china, this either means finding new suppliers or going into the supplier and having meetings with them to negotiate there prices. I am also responsible for a lot of new projects in china. This can range from sourcing components alongside a buying department.

Summary –

I’m a hardworking and trustworthy individual, I have been working in an important position for large uk companies whilst based in china , I have a very professional approach to my work and always do my job to the best of my ability.
