Located in Shajing, Bao,an District, Waterlands Resort is at the east coast of the Pearl River estuary. Its first phase of development covers an area of 1,730,000 square meters. As one of the Demonstration Base of National Agricultural Tourism and the Green Tourist Attraction of Shenzhen , Waterlands Resort is dotted with lakes, streams, dense woods and carpets of green grass. The flying birds in the mangroves and reeds, the diving fish in mulberry embankment of fish ponds and the blossoms of four seasons all add to the beauty of the resort.

Waterlands Resort consists of ten major attraction areas such as the Embanked Fish Ponds, the Fun World and the Ecological Holiday Resort. It is integrated with the functions of sightseeing and entertaining, training and commercial meeting, and eco-science education. The Ecological Holiday Resort has over 200 guest rooms, conference rooms as well as entertainment and fitness facilities. Mingyue Building and Panhu Building offer both Chinese and Western style of dining services in which the raw materials such as fishes, shrimps ,crabs, vegetables and fruits are mainly collected from its self-supporting aquaculture area and vegetable gardens.
