Food has always been better than good. Pricey I agree,
EXCEPT for the best Value on the menue !!!
And their best dish === the stone oven PIZZA's
And the specialty Pizzaa's are CHEAP !!!
About half the price of the "other" pizza places and WAY BETTER... I think the best in all of southern China.

So if you want REAL pizza that's REAL good it's the best
place in Shekou to go :-)

I agree that the food is very good although some things are very expensive and the service really does leave a lot to be desired.

I have sat waiting to have my order taken for up to 15 minutes before and all the manager could say was sorry as the were busy.

Well get more staff then or take orders yourself!

That said the pizzas are great.

If you look for authentic Italian food, thats the right place !

Just go there and smell ... you feel in Italy !

Very good Pizza, good and authentic Spaghetti ( aldente ), other authentic dishes, daily specialities.

Service so far OK ( Italians are never very fast ), the Chief is a German / Italian ( mother from Germany, father from Sicilia - he is always very friendly ), some cooks from Italy ...

Spring and autumn you may sit outside, a nice place and nice atmosphere ...

Price compared to quality and service : reasonable !

My favorite in Shenzhen, only in Shanghai I know some place of same quality ( near The Bund ).

Absolutely to recommend, even for families ( also Chinese and children like this place - if they know a little about Western food and like Italy )

Awful meal last week, this place has really gone down.  I hear that the one in Futian is much better.

This place really has gone down. The pizzas used to be good. I ordered the house pizza becasue it used to have genuine buffalo mozzarella but this time I found I was paying over a 100RMB for a flimsy piece of dough with nasty cheap processed mozzarella on it. That is just dishonest especially as they price the buffalo mozzarella ones much higher becasue of this ingredient. The other thing apart from the generally poor service as others have mentioned is that they have started charging 5 yuan for boiled tap water! This is odd considering restaurants in Italy don't charge for tap water and boiled water is free in all Chinese restaurants. I just think this is a disgrace.

I used to go to this restaurant a lot but as others have said quite rightly it has just really gone down. It used to be just bad service but good food. Now it's bad food as well there is no reason to go here at all.

We work in Shenzhen since 5 week and go to trattoria italiana da angelo every week. Always good pasta and pizza. Antipasto calamaretti are sooooo good !
