I disagree with Anonymous..there are 2 Amigos..maybe you tried the Shekou one which is I agree is average in all ways, but Luhou is great the food is the closest to the real thing i have had since El Paso,the margaritas are WOW and the staff always happy and polite. Actually i found Tequila Coyotes in Coco Park unfriendly and the food only so so..

I go sometimes there when I want western cuisine, the food is ok but too pricey in my view and it's not "so much", was not really full with a Tex Mex of about 100 RMB.
With 10% service fee added on the bill, I was disappointed that I couldn't even get a glass of water but need to buy a bottle of water...
if with some friends, I'll advise to go to the Teppanyaki in the same building with the everything included formula, it's tasty, way more fun and quality price worth the money
The staff can not understand
The staff can not understand english nor spanish...The food is way over priced, the portions too small, those margaritas will never be the best ones in China or SZ...overall will never come back!!!! REALLY BAD EXPERIENCE. I GAVE A POOR RATE BECAUSE THERE IS NO "HOPE YOU GO OUT OF BUSINESS" OPTION...

Greetings from Phillip from Amigos. Firstly to those who wrote favourable comments I thank you . For the record my staff mostly speak english, if even a little, it is as good as many in this city..The portions of our food are large not small as many will attest to, and if a huge eater is still hungry they only have to say so to me or my supervisor and I will guarantee to fill the plate.One writer is correct no party on sundays..that was supposed to have been taken off the site months ago...but nobody is perfect..sometimes people forget..As to bottled water.. yes I do charge for bottled water the same as most foreign restaurants and all hotels in this city, however if you order wine I will gladly give you a bottles water free..as is our custom.. as to price...well I have compared and we are on par with our competitors...best you 'knockers' dont cross the border to Hong Kong..you will have your wallet raped...All in all. if a diner has any complaint they should tell me or one of my staff so that I can correct it..Enjoy...
