Queen Spa & Dining

I have never been to this place, but I have heard that people were allowed to smoke there. Is this true? If so, it doens't feel that much lika a "spa" IMO, and I would rather go somewhere else.

I've heard good reviews. Going to check it out tonight.

Queen Spa was ok, about a year ago when I first went there, sadly since then it is downhill all the way...
Yes, people smoke EVERYWHERE !
I have even seen Chinese smoking in the baths !!
Then of course, the moment the Chinese start to smoke they also start to spit, so be careful where you walk, and it is really disgusting to see people spit in the sauna, and they spit everywhere !
Previously they had at least a big sign in the hot air sauna room asking people not to spit in there, but then it was removed, now it is open sesame for the spitters.
It seems the management wants to attract the lower class chinese to this place, before it was mostly HK people.
In the main rest area the air is atrocious because idiots are allowed to smoke everywhere.
For non smokers there is only a small non smoking area that fills up fast, so it is not much fun.
It is a real pity, because a year ago I really liked it, but it become 'chinees' in a negative way, and now I would not recommend it to anyone, unless you are a smoker and enjoy foul air and people spitting all around, then you will love it...

I have been to Queen Spa at least 7 times over the last 18 months, taking with me visiting guests and friends. I enjoy the Chinese traditional massage, very very good, I actually treated a minor back pain there, with acupuncture. Place is enjoyable, and people (not only Chinese, sir) do smoke, but not all over the place. Air conditioning is quite good, service is good, environment is good. I will reccomend without reservation, the odd passing by passive smoke it will be less harming than an average walking in any busy street at peak traffic time. If you want a coffe there, serve yourself at the free coffe machine...

Queens Spa was good before...

But now it has lost it's touch. Yeah apart from getting a little old, they have lowered the membership fees to younger people (below 25) and now the place seems like a hang out joint and no longer as classy as it use to be. 

Food is good but they take AGES to serve. My record was an hour wait for my food to come... and was seat at the restaurant... not at the sofas...

I use to frequent a lot that place but after my membership credits were up, I stopped after finding out cheaper and better places out of Luohu area.

I heard a lot good about the Queen's spa ..Its said to be great...
