Dear Parents, ,
Regular visits with pediatricians are important for your child's overall health and wellness. Our Well Baby / Well Child Clinic provides scheduled examinations to screen for appropriate developments, keep immunizations up to date, and address any questions or concerns of you and your child. Topics that may be addressed might include good nutrition, safety and accident prevention, disease prevention, hygiene or adolescent issues.
Beginning immediately after birth, our pediatrician stays in touch with your child's growth and development and provides you with the resources for the health of your child. A child's first Well-Child Visit takes place within 48 hours of Newborn Discharge, then again two weeks after birth. After that, visits are scheduled at 1, 2, 4, 6, 9, 15, 18, and 24 months. Later visits are scheduled yearly through college years.
During each Well Baby / Well Child Clinic visit, our peditrician will perform a thourough developmental assessment and comprehensive physical examination of your child. We will also screen for visual acuity and perform necessary laboratory work up annually as needed.
Immunization Our clinic will ensure your child receive the important immunizations necessary to protect against all major communicable diseases.
Our immunization schedule is based on the most current recommendations from World Health Organization (WHO) and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC).
