here is my review: the burger was okay at best only good part was that it was semi juicy and not dry like most burgers. fries were pretty probably the best part of the meal.  tomato soup is actually really good but it was luke warm... who serves warm soup? mushroom soup was absolute crap(not only because it was colder than my luke warm tomato soup but because it tasted bad)! the wings batter was good but the sauces were to sweet. not sure if you guys like sweet hot wings but i prefer them hot and not sweet. this is a really minor detail but coke should not be served with one of those big straws...

pastrami? corned beef, brisket, chopped liver, matzo ball soup???

thats a NY deli....do they serve these things??

You will be greatly disappointed (I was).  No sandwiches at all!  The closest thing was a hamburger and a chicken burger (fried chicken).  I don't think they had more than 7 or 8 items on the menu.

I am a chinese. i went to this restaurant with a friend the night before yesterday.

there are only few choice you can order in their menu. i guess because the restaurant is new. wish they can have something new in their menu soon.

the food wasnt cheap for us. we spend 150 RMB and just half full of our stomach. but i gotta say the french fires was amazing. 

but after all, it is still worthy for me to go there again. by the way, i got a free drink after i filled up a investigate paper. lucky me, hehe.

I am from California so the closets we have to the NY deli is... well not much.  I do enjoy the NY deli in SZ because  the food is good and the service is friendly(Lisa).  I live in China for 3 years and after eating noodles , roce and vegetables, a juicy burget was a breath of fresh air.  I recomend the fish sandwich.  i also  agree about the fries. and for those that liek beer, the happy hour deal they have on Heineken is not bad.

Good food, great service (apart from the silly girl who went into meltdown when I spoke Chinese to her).

Loved it.

The plus is that the Fashion Time Mall above the Chegong Miao Metro station has a real BUZZ.  The CGM area is now the world center of elecronic R & D so lots of well remunerated office workers on the prowl. Added to that, people from the VERY up-market Xiangmihu residential area and the outcome is interesting.

After a really nice dinner at the Deli we wandered over to a little bar about ten yards away and really enjoyed it.

Be adventurous. Leave Shekou for five minutes. Have some fun!
