Norway Place Oslo

very nice bar.excellent philipino band ,romantic music ,comfortable outseating,will go there always,by the way, the service should speed up little will be better.

Very nice place. Felt very much at home there, since I'm Scandinavian ;)
They don't know how to make Irish Coffee, the one I got was ok, but not really a true Irish Coffee... but then they can make a gin&tonic, and I have been to many bars in Shenzhen, who don't even know what gin is! So that's nice :)
The waiter was nice and friendly. A very nice and comfortable place. I will definately come back!

I had read the reviews on here and was hoping for something better than I got. I ordered a vodka and tonic and they wanted to charge me first for the vodka and THEN AGAIN for the tonic. That kind of greedy-money-making crap happens in country-town China. I didn't expect it in a bar in Shenzhen, let alone one that got 'good reviews' on here. We went next door to the Demon Bar and had a much better time. Still, it seems Shenzhen still hasn't gotten it's sh*t together yet. I'll keep drinking in Shekou I think. Give Norway Bar a BIG MISS!

Well, what can I say... I am Norwegian. Not Scandinavian. Not Swedish. Not Danish. Norwegian.

This place is supposed to be Norwegian. Not sure why they picked the name "Norway Place. Oslo" though... I mean, if you were opening a English pub, would you call it "England Place. London"? Oh well... Good job.

I will now share with you why most Norwegians who go to this bar probably would never set foot there again. First of all, they don't serve Norwegian beer. Let's see, Tsingtao can be bought at the same price or less at about 5 million other places in Shenzhen, so why bother going to this one? That was just a digression, here's the true peanut: the walls have lots of wall paintings, all with Norwegian flags waiving from some fishing boat, a flag-pole, or what have you. The problem is just this - THE FLAGS ARE ALL WRONG!

FYI, the Norwegian flag is red, white and blue (outside, inbetween, center cross). "Norway Place. Oslo" has made the masterstroke and painted all of them red, blue and white. If you are opening a bar that is supposed to mirror that of a coutry, maybe get the flags right would be a good start.

If you want a relaxing night out with live music and a feel good factor, I suggest The Norway. One of the first bars I went to with the love of my life and it will always bring back fond memories for years to come!!!

Boring place! Crap food and slow service

I went there with my colleagues for lunch today. It was disaster. I found two cockroaches lie on the floor in front of the sink in the toilet area, I guess they drank too much last night, couldn’t make it home. I have to tell the waiter to clean it up? (They should be careful next time, after all, it is their job to maintaining the area CLEAN). I’m bit sick, so I cannot eat spicy food, while I order, the waitress told me it is not spicy. When the food come out, I saw chilis in the dish, but she told me, the chili is more for decoration rather to give the taste…..should never believe her.... so I tried, turns out it IS SPICY. I want them to change it, but she told me she cannot change it for me, bec I eat the food already. (I just tried a small piece, but….). So I ask her if she think it is spicy, she said NO, (different lever of tates). I have to go find something else to eat now….but I still has to pay for the food I didn’t even eat…..

went there today! if you like cockroaches in your food - go ahead! was in shock!!! don't even want to start on other stuff, but no doubt one dead crispy cockroach in my plate is enough!!!
