Very consistent in service and live music. I prefer to sit at the outdoor tables by the pool.

The bar itself is a pretty stylish design, with a stage set in the centre of the bar, and then lots of easy seats around and about. Like most Chinese clubs you are expected to buy a bottle of spirits, though there aren't any Lai dice to get you drinking at speed (thankfully).

But the bar's big let down are the band, who are without a doubt the worst covers band I have seen in Asia, and that takes some doing. The set list is bland with covers of pretty much every middle of the road pop tune you've already forgotten about, and this paucity of selection is then treated with utter disdain by the band.

Musically they have no oomph, and vocally they have less. The male lead singer has only one key and it's not the right one, the little talent the two female vocalists have is supressed by the flattest sound mix on earth. There really is no redemption for this act, if you would like to recreate the experience in your living room, play a Barry Manilow single at 33 rpm and then beat yourself over the head with a glass bottle until it breaks.

It's a shame as the setting is fantastic, but all in all a night here is about as much fun as gargling bleach. You can do better. And so could they.

My favorite bar in SZ, have been going there for years!!! Love the place, love the music!!!
