They have awesome sandwiches. Although I am not fond of the soggy pizza with corn on it. Go to Capri for good pizza. |

I have stayed at Donghua 2 times. They are very friendly and service minded. I can really recommend this hotel. Good value for the money. |

Hi I am the owner of Focaccino and want to assure everyone that we do not have soggy pizza with corn topping. |

Sorry, but this trendy restaruant is overpriced and subpar. The vegarian calzone is a disgrace to Italian food, a big, well-cooked crust but it came mostly hallow, filled with a very small amount of mushrooms, onions, red peppers, black olives, and cheese. The bites with cheesy ingredients tasted good but a calzone this skimpy is a rip off. When we cut into the calzone it also leaked a bit of watery liquid from the sauteed veggi mixture. The inside of good calzone should be moist and firm with all the ingredients and cheese melted together. The liquid looked like it came from an underdone omlette, and any owner who sells a 62 rmb calzone like this ought to be ashamed. We had the Ceasar salad, also a rip off because the restaurant is controlling portions for profit. Again, tasty dressing but not enough dressing or ingredients and the croutons in a classic ceasar should be tossed with the salad, not placed dry around the edges of the plate. We finished with the New York cheescake. What a joke. Store bought, no presentation, a thin slice was drizzed with a small amount of chocolate syrup, and it was a tad on the dry side. What a disappointment, another restaurant not worthy of its reputation and putting portion control and profits above offering good food reasonably priced and portioned. Might be a trendy bite for the late night drinking crowd, but Gordon Ramsey would be less than pleased. |

Again, as the owner you're just pretending nothing is wrong with your restaurant. You may only get a few complaints here, but smart people know at least some of the food you're serving is overpriced and subpar. |
