Simply put, a podcast is a radio show on iTunes you can listen to at any times at your leisure. For expatriates working and living in Asia and China especially, we would like to introduce two podcasts that you would find extremely helpful if you’re starting your new life and career here. Download these episodes hosted by Michael Michelini and Nora and Hollie and you will learn anything from how other entrepreneurs establish their businesses in Asia, to the daily tricks of living in China.

Global from Asia Podcast

About the host: Michael Michelini is an American who has been to China for six years. Specializing in eCommerce, he loves sharing his experience and helping his fellow businessmen. He also created the app “Social Agent” which connects businesses to sales agents. He intially chose his podcast topics by mapping out what he went through when he came to Asia for the first time to do business and went from there. After a while more and more people came with feedback and questions that inspired more shows. He was inspired to start the podcast after attending a DCBKK.com meetup in Thailand last October, where tons of amazing people there were doing podcasts, and one of the event hosts, Dan Andrews, told everyone in the room that they should start a podcast – and that audio listening really connects with an audience.

Why you should start listening to it: Folks doing business in Asia should realize that others are having similar questions and problems that they are having; they should also stay up to date with news in Hong Kong and Asia business practices – and hear new and interesting interviews from people on the ground here.
