Four Points by Sheraton Shenzhen
This pool is run by the hotel itself and is high-up with a 270 degree view of the city and is well designed. Treat yourself back stroking in the pool on the 6th floor terrace looking at the sky and surrounding buildings–even in the winter, since the pool is heated. With a depth from 1.2m to 1.6m, it is great for doing laps. Cocktail and drink options are limited by the side of the pool. The one-year membership for all the fitness facilities including the pool is 9880rmb. With 7680rmb you can go there 50 times a year. The access fee for non-members is 180rmb per person per day and if you’re a guest of the hotel or introduced by friend who’s a member, the access fee would be 180rmb. One-on-one swimming lessons are available.

The hotel has one indoor pool and three outdoor pools. Soak up the sun and the stunning seaside scenery at their expansive, freshwater Outdoor Pool, located just 20 meters from the private beach. The Langham is the best hotel pool for cocktails and drinks. Beer taps and vedettes are available here. If you don’t have a gym membership the access fee would be 500rmb for adults and 250rmb for children(Plus 6% VAT tax). Hilton Shenzhen Shekou Nanhai

The outdoor pool is gigantic and luxurious, only a few steps away from the ocean. Access fee for non-members is 300rmb per person per time. One-year membership is 13800rmb, three-months membership is 4000rmb, while montly membership is 1500rmb. The indoor pool is open all year and heated in the winter with a constant temperature for all four seasons, while the outdoor pool only opens during the summer. The indoor pool has a depth of 1.3m to 1.6m , while the outdoor pool is from 0.9m to 1.15m.

Ritz-Carlton Hotel
The Ritz-Carlton pool is one of the shallowest pools in Shenzhen so don’t expect to do the back stroke. It is an outdoor pool so it is much more appropriate for relaxing and using as an escape oasis in the middle of the CBD. Lie back and bathe yourself in the spectacular constellation of city lights at night. The photo below gives you a general idea. The pool is open all year. Sometimes the Ritz opens their Leaves Bar and you then have all the cocktails and draft beer. Don’t worry though they are also happy to bring you a bottle of wine or other food from their menu. The non-member access fee is 400rmb per person per day for adults and 250rmb for kids(Plus 6% VAT tax), free for kids under 2 years old. One-year membership is 8000rmb(fitness facilities + swimming pool)/12800(fitness facilities + swimming pool + sauna). One-year membership for two people is 22800.

JW-Marriot Hotel
The pool on the terrace is not Olympic-sized but it overlooks the Shenzhen Golf Club. It’s great for a hide away place where nobody will know where you are. The quiet and generally low-populated pool gives you the chance to relax and rejuvenate. The depth of the pool is 0.9m to 1.4m. The non-member access fee is 250rmb per person per day and 125rmb for kids. With the day access you can also work out in the fitness center. One-year membership here is 8800rmb for one person and 15000rmb for two, and three months membership is 4200rmb. From June to August you can order drinks at the bar beside the pool.

InterContinental Shenzhen Hotel

The outdoor pool is really a man made beach more than a pool where you can lie on white sand brought from Hainan. The hotel has the largest swimming pools in Shenzhen with a fabulous, landmark outdoor swimming pool that looks like a water park as well as a temperature-controlled indoor standard pool. You can swim up to the pool bar and have a drink. At the far end there is a pirate ship as your backdrop which makes it a great place to take your kids. There’s also a children play area available. The outdoor pool is 1.3m to 1.4m deep. Non-members access fee is 500rmb. The membership is 22800rmb for a year, and 3000rmb per month.

Opening Hours: Indoor pool: open all year except for maintenance days on the 15th of each month. 6:00am-12:00am. Outdoor pool: 6:00am-8:00pm for the summer and 8:00am-6:00pm for the winter, open all year except for maintenance days on the 25th of each month.

The Venice Hotel
This is the original grand hotel pool in Shenzhen and it still stands up. They have an outdoor pool as well as an indoor pool. Non-member access fee is 250rmb for adults and 175 for children above 3 years old. The one-yaer membership is 8880rmb; the half-year membership is 5880rmb, and three months membership is 4680rmb. The depth of the pools is 1.2m. The outdoor pool is only open for the summer. The indoor pool is open year-round and heated from October to April. Swimming lessons are available. Go for a swim and then bring a change of clothes to have a night out in the V Bar. V Bar is open daily after 10pm.

Grand Hyatt Shenzhen offers a 25-metre outdoor temperature controlled swimming pool located on the 3rd floor of the hotel. The outside swimming pool area is flooded with natural light and has an impressive city view. Music flows through the sound system, while you immense yourself in another world. At the poolside bar you’ll find refreshing fruit juices and healthy drinks and snacks. The spacious men’s and women’s changing rooms feature steam and sauna rooms. The pool is not heated but open year-round. The depth of the pool is from 0.9m to 1.5m. Non-member access fee is 220rmb for adults and 110rmb for kids under the height of 1.2m. One-year membership normally charges 10888rmb, but if you become a member from now till the end of June, you can get a discount so the price would be 8888rmb per year. Monthly membership is 2888rmb. Swimming lessons are available for 380rmb per class.
