Langham Hotels & Resorts Recognised with Six Conde Nast Traveler's 2016 Readers' Choice Award

Condé Nast Traveler today announced the results of its 29th annual Readers’ Choice Awards with Langham Hotels & Resorts recognized with six awards, each breaking the Top 10 in their respective markets – The Langham, Melbourne as the #2 hotel in Australia/Pacific; The Langham, London #3 in London; The Langham, Chicago #4 in Chicago; The Langham, Huntington, Pasadena #6 in Los Angeles; The Langham, Boston as #7 in Boston; and Langham Place, New York, Fifth Avenue #7 in New York. 

“This is a proud day for Langham Hospitality Group, knowing that we have been recognized by the readers of Condé Nast Traveler,” said Robert Warman, CEO of Langham Hospitality Group. “We pride ourselves on providing the highest level of service at every one of our hotels. It is a testament to our teams at each of our hotels represented on this list, who are responsible for our company receiving this honour.” 

 

Over 300,000 dedicated readers – nearly twice as many as last year -- cast votes for 7,394 hotels, 606 cities, 500 cruise ships,and 236 islands, in an average survey time of 8.4 minutes. The result? The 1,402 best travel experiences in the world.

 

Langham Hotels & Resorts, the luxury brand of Langham Hospitality Group, was founded to reflect the tradition of excellence set by its flagship hotel, The Langham, London, founded in 1865. The brand’s portfolio currently includes locations in London, New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Auckland, Melbourne and Sydney, as well as various locations throughout China. Future hotels are planned for San Francisco, Santa Fe, Dallas, Dubai, Doha and Tokyo, among others. 

 

The Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards are the longest-running and most prestigious recognition of excellence in the travel industry and are commonly known as “the best of the best of 

travel.” Under Editor in Chief Pilar Guzmán, the Readers’ Choice Awards have become more selective and specific to the passions that inspire today’s travelers.
