[Shenzhen, China – 6 November 2017] The next generation of international tennis stars are in action at the Mission Hills Resort in southern China this month with the return of the ATP and ITF Shenzhen Longhua Open.

Hosted by the two governing bodies of world tennis – the ATP and the ITF – the US$ 75,000 ATP Challenger Tour event at the Mission Hills tennis centre in Shenzhen concluded with the men’s singles final on November 5 and was won by Maldova’s Radu Albot. 
The women’s main draw for the US$ 100,000 ITF Pro Circuit event commences on November 7 with the singles final on November 12. 
Sanctioned by the China Tennis Association, players currently ranked as high as 106 in the world will be hoping for that all-important break through into the world’s top 100.  In total, 100 male and female players from more than 30 different countries are in action, including 44 competitors from China.  They are staying at the newly-opened Hard Rock Hotel at Mission Hills Shenzhen.
