The First Art Gallery Café in Shennan Avenue, OCT Art Salon

OCT Art Salon is the first art gallery cafe in Shennan Avenue, between the art museums. A charming and cool hideout  and immerse yourself in a creative atmosphere. To promote contemporary art in Shenzhen forward, OCT Art Salon is the vision of a modem, international platform to explore, to create rich fashion, creative, artistic and cultural spirit of the time. A nice space for artists to show their works and a nice place for people who need a creative space to shut out the noisy environment. And it’s in downtown Shenzhen.

If you are living in Shenzhen, you must know Shennan Avenue well. It’s a long thoroughway linking  all of downtown Shenzhen. And if you ever spend a day for a museum trip, you must know Hexiangning Art Museum and Hua Museum. OCT Art Salon is located right between them. You can have a cup of coffee here no matter what you next stop is, Splendid China, Window of the World, etc.

OCT Art Salon is an expansion of Hua Museum. It belongs to the InterContinental Hotel, Shenzhen. At the beginning it aimed at providing a place for people to have a rest. Later on, as so many designers and artists expressed interest in putting up their works there, a brand new creation was born.

Explore with your eyes the contemporary arts and take a break after a long day’s work.

Now they are on the trial operation stage.

Opening Hour (Daily): 10:00-18:00

We learnt from Fye Yang, the Salon manager, that lots of companies already have  booked their yearly company gathering in the Salon and many others are on the waiting list.
