We are now seeking a passionate, experienced self-starter to take on a savvy social media marketer role in a fast-growing team that loves to work hard, play hard and laugh hard. We are looking for a positive can-do attitude, with a willingness to follow through and do what it takes to get the job done. Reporting to the Director, our Social Media Marketing Manager will work closely with editorial Project Manager and Creative Designer/Producers that brings to life MediaV’s brands and businesses on social media. The Manager will assist the Director on all creative campaign development and ideation, and work alongside teammates in creative services to tactically develop kick-ass content.

Responsibilities
-Participate in marketing strategy development and ideation for our clients and new business
-Utilise research and knowledge of trends/pop culture to identify and recommend content and talent to support our clients’ marketing objectives
-Research industry trends and monitor the brand/talent landscape to determine industry direction and competitive positioning
-Plan and develop locally-native content, working with Project Manager and Creative Producer
-Execute the creation of content for social – including but not limited to - copy, video, graphics, GIFS – and manage day-to-day workflow for publishing (asset gathering, shooting, editing, copywriting, design, etc.); includes working effectively with design and production team
-Source and schedule content in efforts to raise sales revenue and increase followers/engagement
-Execute against our clients and businesses’ social media strategy, ensuring content aligns with the business goals, voice, and brand, and maximizes engagement and ROI
-Market upcoming events on social platforms including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, Tiktok, etc
- Keep your finger on the pulse of the latest trends and best practices.
Constantly monitor trends, test new channels and ideas, and help all key stakeholders understand what is working and why

Candidate Requirements: 

Requirements
-2-3 years of international social media experience preferably in the US and European Markets
-Bachelors degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Journalism, English, or related field
-Advanced working knowledge of all priority social platforms including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, Tiktok and their livestreaming capabilities
-You live and breathe social media personally and professionally
-You are a creative soul. You have an eye for design and visual composition, and impeccable attention to detail when it comes to customer-facing work
-Great current pop-culture knowledge across all industries (beauty, fashion, entertainment, music, etc.)
-Fluency with social media analytics and reporting
-Proficient written and verbal communication skills in English, able to calmly and confidently communicate with all levels of the organization
-Proactive, driven, detail-oriented, and creative individual with strong organisation and research skills
-Adept at crafting creative, clear, and engaging copy. You have an instinct for what works on different channels, and can clearly articulate why
-Experience in media, beauty/fashion eCommerce, technology industries is a plus
-Ability to work within tight deadlines, adjust to changes in priorities, and balance short term needs with long term strategic initiatives, while remaining focused and calm
-A drive to work toward the highest standards-with a focus on teamwork
