Sales and Marketing Assistant (E-commerce & O2O)

We are a young French start-up specialized in e-commerce cross-border business based in Shenzhen, dedicated to Western lifestyle products (Gastronomic food, French wine, cosmetics, apparel, clothing…) with a unique O2O approach. Position: Sales and Marketing Assistant
Contract type: full-time, 5 days a week
Location: Shenzhen, Nanshan district, Hi-tech park area

Key Responsibilities and Duties

Marketing assistant duties:
1 - Translate marketing material & documents from English to Chinese
2 - Liaise with our team in France to retrieve relevant brand / products information & stories
3 - Liaise with our team members across China & contractors to coordinate social media campaigns and actions according to schedule
4 - Assist in performing online market and products research & analysis based on client’s request
5 - Help in creating new marketing approach and integrate it into our client’s concept
6 - Perform basic SEO / content writing and posting on regular basis
7 - Perform monthly social media & sales reporting and analysis to address improving areas and set action plans accordingly
8 - Manage and update FAQ database of brand knowledge, product information & stories, campaign / event / promotion information on all platforms
9 - Help in organizing event & communication with our partners, attend event in Wine & Food tasting as well as Fashion & Accessories events

Sales assistant duties:
A - Assist the managing director on daily business operations (contact suppliers and contractors, negotiate prices, handle communication with banks as well as other official government institutions in China)
B - Follow the managing director during his business trips, attend meetings with clients and partners, act as an interpreter for the managing director, take notes of the meeting and follow-up by phone / Wechat / email with all relevant parties.
C - Maintain excellent customer relations and communications with clients
D - Respond to inquiries made by customers via means like emails, Wechat, telephones, and website
E - Assist in organizing business trips and meetings in China and abroad
F - Create compelling alliance partnerships and build sustainable relationships with all parties.

General Duties:
Requirements:
I - Experience as marketing and/or sales or General Manager assistant
II - Native Chinese with excellent command of both written and spoken English. French is a big plus.
III - Experience in Food and Beverage industry, Wine, Cosmetics or clothing preferred. E-commerce experience is a plus.
IV - Demonstrate ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines
V - Well-organized with a customer-oriented approach
VI - Knowledge of market research techniques (if not, you will learn)
VII - Knowledge of social media marketing techniques (if not, you will learn)
VIII - Knowledge of SEO (Search Engine Optimization) techniques (if not, we are very sad but you will learn)
IX - Exquisite communication and people skills (be human, so say “hello” when you walk in and “good bye” when leaving)
X - Be business driven and able to meet objectives

Your salary & location at FABCO China:
Salary: 8k-10k RMB gross per month (depending on your experience) + commissions on the company’s sales performance.
Location: Hi-tech park, Nanshan district, Shenzhen, China (occasional national or international business trips might be required)

Candidate Requirements: 

Nice to have:

1) 1-3 years’ work experience
2) Preferably college degree or above, Major in Business / Sales / Marketing is a plus
3) Native Chinese Mandarin (Cantonese is a plus), Fluent English in oral & written. French would be a great asset.
4) 1-2 years’ experience in trade / brand marketing / e-commerce / social media is a plus
5) Experience in Wechat marketing & e-commerce is a plus.
6) A good team player and being able to work independently (Partial home-office work is also negotiable)
7) Ability to learn quickly
8) Manage time effectively and work accurately under pressure
9) Being inclined to discover new online platforms and learn how to use them
