At this very moment, I can hardly contain my excitement. I need to break away from my swimming TV screening to throw in a few comments to applause this young Chinese gal that against all odds to snap up a first swimming gold medal for China in the 200 individual medleys. The World Swimming Championship events are currently held in Shanghai, China.

With an army of elite female swimmers at the final from all over the globe, Shiwen Ye of China was considered to be an underdog. Her winning a medal was remotely slim and to beat the titan US world record holder was virtually an impossible task and an unrealistic dream. Read more »

We have heard numerous messages about the evil of smoking and the dire deadly health consequence of smoking or inhale second hand smoke. What is particular striking is in a land of most populated territory, it did not seen to be a burdensome to them. China, with close to 1.4 billion populations, half of a billion are pronounced smokers. They lighten up anywhere they go; insensitive to the warning label on every single package of cigarette that smoking can cause cancer or complication of pregnancy. They keep on going up in smoke, burning the place like a tower inferno.

          With Independent day looming around the corner, Americans will again go all out partying to celebrate this national birthday in which our forefathers declared this day as our nation's independence centuries ago. There will be public display of the star and spangled banners, homey BBQ ribs family gatherings, American apple pie consumptions and round it up with spectacular fireworks.

        This story is not about the recent incredible hilarious Chinese Kung Fu movie entitled  'Let the Bullets Fly' that make big splash in the box office or the genuine bullet flying out from a steamy hot smoky gun. Here, I am discussion about the crowd jewel of Chinese technological advancement -the all mighty speed train that shaped like a bullet, slick, smooth, and by far, that fly out at the train terminal like a bullet leaving the world closes competitor to eat dust.

        Lately, the world stock market swoon, it gave investors a scary roller coaster ride. This morning the market is again heading for a train wreck with continue deep selling from yesterday's big drop. With the current unsettled and negative sentiments among investors, stock could be easily decelerated further, given the market many days of high volatility.
