A brand new, live, English-language radio show called Shenzhen Live began streaming yesterday afternoon from Yeyan Radio Station.
Shenzhen Live is a weekly, English language, lifestyle talk show that discusses local, current events and other issues of importance to Shenzhen residents. Hosted by Pax (Canada) from Asia Club Zone and Cecilia (China) from the Shenzhen Daily, listeners can expect to learn more about the city they call home, while listening to unique and eclectic music tracks. Some episodes will feature in studio guests.
The show’s current time slot is from 3 to 4 p.m. on Sundays, but the show will re-run on Wednesdays from 3 to 4 p.m. Read more »
Twenty homeless dogs are waiting for dog-lovers to take them home at a dog adoption event Sunday at Coastal City in Nanshan District.Organized by the Shenzhen Dog Protection Association, the event will also feature a stage show calling for animal protection. Administration departments will give free licenses to the dogs once they are officially adopted at the event. Local pet hospitals will give free health checks and free rabies vaccine shots to the dogs.
