Shenzhen Wine and Cheese Club Celebrates 8 Years

November marked the 8th anniversary of the Shenzhen Wine and Cheese Club. Members attend the wine and cheese club to mix fun, networking and business once a month on a Saturday evening.

Club Overview and History
The club came about when a group of expats decided that there was no gathering or event that is precisely catered to their taste, where they can enjoy wines, cheese and the company of like-minded people. So on November 2003, the club was born. The club is run by a group of advisors who are responsible for selecting the wines, the cheese and the venue. Read more »

For this MP3 Monday, we found a group called Beausoleil. It is a cajun band from New Orleans. This band has been playing in Louisiana since 1975. Check out their albums La Danse De La Vie and L'Amour Ou La Folie (Love Or Folly) which won a Grammy Award. Read more »

Techcrunch Meetup in Shenzhen

Friday John Biggs from the web site TechCrunch stopped by at Le Bistro to say hello to the Shenzhen Tech Community. About 50 people joined the meetup. John talked a bit about the TechCrunch Disrupt conference that was held in Beijing. He also mentioned that we would be see a bigger TechCrunch presence in Asia and that we should stay tuned. Halloween on our Event Calendar
