“The Charity Theme Events of this year has enormously aroused the public awareness of philanthropy and assured the efficiency and transparency of the entire charity process from donation to delivery,” said AmCham South China President Harley, “I have benefited a lot from it too. Charity is not about money, it is about the heart. We have more to do.”

[Nov.19, Guangzhou] As the fifth and the final charity event of the series, 2011 Charity Winter Ball held on November 19th at Guangzhou Jinhan Exhibition Center, nearly 600 people attended the ball to celebrate the great success of the Charity Events. Leaders of Guangzhou Municipal Government presented award for the main donors. Consul Generals of foreign consulates in Guangzhou, members of AmCham South China and other political and business celebrities attended this grand event, while Hong Kong entertainment veteran Philip Chan and young heartthrob screen actor Dylan Sterling (recently featured in “Bruce Lee, My Brother” and “Crazy GPS”) showed up as the MC.
