Duke's, An Effortlessly Stylish Wine and Grill Restaurant

Located on level 3, the effortlessly stylish Duke’s Wines and Grill evokes plenty of continental charm complemented by luxurious modern touches. With the sophisticated European cuisine, a largest wine cellar in the city, as well as live jazz vibe and contemporary arts, Duke’s is the perfect place to see and been seen in Shenzhen.

Sporting dark wood panelling, polished hardwood flooring, fine carpets, and studded leather couches, the restaurant and wine bar resembles a classic, private continental club. A gleaming wood stairwell leads upstairs to a luxurious private wine tasting room that is ideal for small gatherings and special functions. Wine tastings can be tailored to suit any occasion.

The kitchen serves tantalising tapas inspired by the sun-dappled shores of the Mediterranean Sea. Other specialties include succulent grilled meats, featuring the Prime Rib at Duke’s complimented with Yorkshire pudding, hearty side dishes and sauces include wild mushrooms and classic red wine.  Selected steaks and seafood are also available, while delicate desserts draw a perfect ending of your meal.

All of Duke’s delectable offerings are seamlessly paired with over 300 kinds of excellent wine from a state-of-the-art cellar. With strict controls on temperature, humidity, and light, the cellar boasts hundreds of premium wines from all over the globe, catering to connoisseurs and novices alike. Wines are served by the glass, half-bottle, or bottle, according to guests’ preferences.

The hotel also invites Julia Zhu, the first professional lady sommelier in Shenzhen, to join and offer the enchanting art of wine tasting. Ever since becoming a certified sommelier in 2003 with CAPS (Canadian Association of Professional Sommeliers), she has been working in the wine industry for more than 7 years. Before joining in the Langham Hospitality Group, Julia used to work as a head sommelier in different world-renowned five-star hotels. Julia will help The Langham, Shenzhen collect various high-end wines from the top winery all over the world together. Every guest could experience the extraordinary luxurious comfort here, while enjoying the delicious food together with the mellow wines.

More than a fine drinking and dining establishment, Duke’s is also a choice venue for internationally acclaimed musicians and bands specialising in jazz, blues, funk, and pop, among other genres. Such dynamic artists take to the stage every evening, from Monday to Saturday, infusing the club’s stately setting with soothing and soulful vibes, and helping to set its classic, relaxed atmosphere.

From 14th April to 30th June, Duke’s offers sumptuous semi buffet brunch on every Sunday from 11:30 to 15:00. Overflowing with European sophistication, the Sunday Semi-Buffet Brunch at Duke’s combines an elaborate appetiser-and-dissert buffet with entrée selections and sumptuous main course such as Australian Wagyu beef rib eye, oyster and salmon fillet. Luxurious a la carte options including king prawn, caviar and pan-fried goose liver are also available at favourable prices. The buffet brunch is available at CNY 400 per person with unlimited serving of wine, beer, soft drinks and juices, or CNY 688 per person with unlimited serving of champagne, wine, beer, soft drinks and juices. Children under 12 years old can enjoy 50% discount. All prices are subject to 15% service charge.
