100 Children from the Shenzhen Welfare Center Invited to Celebrate the Chinese New Year at JW Marriott Shenzhen

[Jan 16, Shenzhen]JW Marriott Shenzhen invited 100 children from the Shenzhen Welfare Center to celebrate the Chinese New Year with folk arts and crafts artists to share the happiness of the festival and warmth and support from the Marriott Family.   

The activity invited 8 specialists to showcase different kinds of splendid and resplendent folk arts and crafts for the children. Through personally involved in the making of such traditional handicrafts as puppet, silhouette show, Sugar painting and Paper cutting, etc, the children learnt more about Chinese traditional art and craftsmanship. The children enjoyed it very much during the event. In addition, JW Marriott Shenzhen also prepared a delicious buffet lunch and a New Year Gift pack for the children to make the event more memorable.   

The Marriott Business Councils South China has given vigorous support to the activity and many Marriott Hotels in the region such as Marriott Executive Apartment Shenzhen, China Hotel, Guangzhou and Marriott Hotel Tianhe, Guangzhou attended the activity.
