CJW Shenzhen branch is set in OCT BAY, the up-and-coming new leisure hotspot in Shenzhen and the most trendy urban entertainment destination in South China. CJW at OCT BAY includes five buildings alongside Qushui bay, with the most beautiful location and the most comfortable environment. They are: CJW Bar & Lounge; Kyoku Teppanyaki Restaurant; Kyoku Japanese Cuisine Restaurant; and Kyoku Bar & Grill. - Design
CJW at OCT BAY creates a comfortable and friendly atmosphere by perfectly interpreting sea culture with a minimalistic yet diversified design concept. Every building has its own theme of the sea.
The restaurant provides patrons with an aesthetically pleasing and comfortable ambience with natural materials like wood and transparent stones. CJW Bar & Lounge features two different styles. The first floor creates a dynamic world with shining colors and modern chic materials, while the second floor provides a private escape from the hectic stresses of everyday life.
- Kyoku Teppanyaki Restaurant
Kyoku Teppanyaki Restaurant has open Teppanyaki tables, a wine cellar on the first floor and six private rooms on the second floor. The restaurant offers a memorable dining experience by perfect marrying traditional Japanese Teppanyaki cooking skills and French style presentation. Set menus offer outstanding value, where diners can choose from a range of fresh meat or seafood along with soup, rice and vegetables. Patrons can watch the chefs’ culinary skills or the splendid coastal view while enjoying tasty food.
- Kyoku Japanese Cuisine Restaurant
Kyoku Japanese Cuisine Restaurant features an excellent sushi bar on the first floor and VIP rooms on the second floor. The inside décor of warm natural color and natural materials like woods and stones creates comfortable dining atmosphere. The restaurant concentrates on authentic healthy and tasty flavors by using only the finest and freshest seasonal ingredients, and offers an extensive selection of high-quality sushi, sashimi, grilled items as well as a variety of other Japanese cuisine options.
- Kyoku Japanese Grill & Bar
Kyoku Grill & Bar has two waterside buildings surrounded by plant-lined terraces which seat over 200 people. It provides a casual, yet modern and refined atmosphere serving a wide selection of grilled food with freshly prepared meat like chicken, lamp and beef, as well as seafood. The bar, which carries a discerning variety of beer, wine, spirits and sake and more, provides perfect pairing paring with the kitchen menus.

CJW Bar & Lounge has two floors with different design styles and provides two alternative clubbing experiences. The first floor features a big show stage and creates a youthful and dynamic atmosphere with shining highlights and modern chic materials. The second floor features lounge seats, wine cellar and a cigar bar, providing a private escape from the hectic stress of everyday life.
A six-piece show band with international music talents presents brilliant live shows every night at CJW Bar & Lounge. CJW artists play jazz, soul, blues, R&B and funk till midnight, catering to our upscale clientele who take advantage of the enchanting rhythms by dancing on the floor or lounging with friends on the cozy sidelines.

⎫ 2007 – Grand opening of CJW’s fourth branch at THE PLACE in Beijing.
⎫ 2008 – Modern Weekly awards THE PLACE as the Best Continental Restaurant. The Beijinger presents the restaurant with its Readers’ Bar&Club Award.
