Tricks for Kids is the children's film festival of the Stuttgart International Festival of Animated Film. The film programme is complemented by a great variety of hands-on activities, workshops, and the GameZone Kids.

Best of Tricks for Kids screens a selection of the most beautiful and captivating short films for children presented at ITFS17, delighting audiences and the members of the children's jury. It is an exciting, international mix of imaginary and universal stories, where an alien looking for fuel is forced to make an emergency landing with his spaceship in the middle of nowhere and soon followed by a lively little boy, and where a little girl and a tiny fox discover by chance that they cannot only make plants, but also objects grow, or where a grandfather and his grandchild earn their living by selling starlight in a small seaside town... The films have no dialogue and are recommended for children aged 4 years and older.
