The Cleveland Orchestra

A majestic spring celebration

The trumpets will sound loud, announcing one of the world’s greatest symphonic shows, bringing fresh tones and renewed emotion to Spring’s first week! Conducted by Franz Welser-Möst, its long time music director, The Cleveland Orchestra will take us through Beethoven’s Emperor Concerto and Prokofiev’s thrilling Symphony No. 3. The prestigious ensemble of musicians, considered the best in America, will be joined by guest soloist Daniil Trifonov, a prodigy pianist groomed at the Cleveland Institute of Music and described by The Times as “without question the most astounding pianist of our age”.

Having just celebrated its centennial in 2018, The Cleveland Orchestra has been honed by a series of prestigious maestros since its early days. Dividing its activity between performances at home and international tours, the ensemble has had regular appearances at festivals, playing at the world’s most prestigious concert halls. Besides being one of the most recorded symphonies on the planet, The Cleveland Orchestra has been committed to the pursuit of musical excellence through a string of innovative and intensive residencies, across North America and Europe. This blooming season, The Cleveland Orchestra’s overwhelming classical stream will be flowing over our stage too. An unmissable concert that offers a rare opportunity to feel the pure essence of music.
