Detroit is the birthplace of techno - the foundation of modern dance music. In recognition of black history month, we are throwing a (belated) party as tribute to the music and it's founders.

Our featured guest, DJ Romantic from Hong Kong, makes his first appearance in Shenzhen, spinning Detroit and Minimal from 12-2. He is a member of HK's Robot Underground crew, who are now marking 10 years of hosting techno events in HK.

We also welcome Rice the Beat Chef back from Taiwan, with a special early set from 10-11 consisting of house music and his own self-produced "bithop". Listen to his songs at www.myspace.com/ricethebeatchef - can somebody please land this kid a record deal?

DJ Quest & DJ Shabaga round the night out with more detroit, deep house, minimal, dubstep, and other delicious genres of techno music.
