Tips for Getting a Maid

Hey all, I just moved to Shenzhen yesterday and I'm looking for a maid to do some cleaning, laundry and maybe cooking. The place I'm staying - you walk around barefoot for 10 minutes and the soles of your feet are black. Gross. Any tips for a newcomer? How much does it cost and how do I know I can trust her?

I guess you found your home via real estate agency. Therefore you can ask to real estate agency for introduction. This will be more safe.
