Starbucks Installs Security Devices to Help Reduce Theft

Last time we stopped by Starbucks we found they have installed some carabiners on each table with which you can attach your bags to. Theft at Starbucks is very common, in fact theft in Shenzhen is often a topic of discussion. Thank you to Starbucks for trying to tackle this issue. Don't forget to use these as thieves can be very quick here.

Thats a really good idea! I hope a few other places adopt similar ideas!
However, Still remember to be sure to keep an eye on your bag, as they often also just open and take the contents!

I like to see they are making an attempt to curb theft, but this makes me think about seatbelts. In the US I think that it was said that the percentage of people in accidents stayed the same or increased because people using them thought, "Oh ok, now I can drive fast and not worry". While this addition is nice, do not think your stuff is safe and carelessly not pay attention to your things. A thief can easily take your things out of that clip or even cut the chain with some pliers and be off;)
