Printer-friendly versionFor those familiar with the old Shenzhen bar scene, Le Nest is located in what was previously Michelle’s House, and later the Fire Bar.

Le Nest has been renovated and is a change from the average bar in Shenzhen. Refreshingly light and clean, it has a chilled out airy feel during the week, and a packed party atmosphere on the weekends.
The bar staff are well trained and do a fire/juggling show twice a night on weekends and special events. The resident DJ plays a mix of hip-hop, electro, and classic rock hits tailored for the crowd, and while dancing space is limited, you can rock out anywhere you want to. At this time there isn’t any food on the menu other than fruit plates and a few Chinese style bar snacks, but you can order delivery from Mickey D’s to quell the munchies.
The manager, Stan, hailing from the Canadian wilderness, is one hell of a guy, and a font of wisdom regarding the ins and outs of our fair city. Advice is free and the drinks are reasonable. Hit him up, and ask about the foreigner specials.
