First the good news, Tesco the huge British supermart chain is opening a new big store in Shenzhen.
NOW the bad news, it will be in Longguan, which is about 90min bus ride from SZ CBD. (each way)

Tesco has already openened
Tesco has already openened in Shanghai and bad news if anyone is looking for a taste of home. Tesco has entered the market here in the same way as carrefour; to cater for the local market. They are nothing like the Tesco stores in the UK.

ASDA has always been better,
ASDA has always been better, and cheaper, than Tesco... However, what we really need is an ALDI or a LIDL!!
