Hi,
Does anyone know if it's possible to live in ShenZhen and work in Hong Kong? I am an EU passport holder.
I will be moving to ShenZhen in June and I have job there if I want it. However I have applied for a better job in Hong Kong and was wondering if it's possible to live in ShenZhen and commute to work in HK.I have heard that many do this to take advantage of the higher wages in HK.
Have any of you done this before, or do you know how it is possible? I would need a HK working visa. How about for China, do I need a residence permit? and is it possible to obtain a residense permit if my job is in HK?
Any help would be appeciated.
Take Care,
Sean

Dear Sean,
I think this is very difficult to work in HK and living in Shenzhen. Two reasons, first is that if you get working visa from HK, it will not supply residance permit in China. This is totally different. Second reason is that maybe you can get 6 months or one year (F type) business visa with multiple entry, than you can realize this your idea but China government announced that stoped long term visa with multiple Entry due to olympics from now until mid October.
Actually, I have to get long term business visa but I think it's very difficult.
