Now that the Futian Customs border is open it is even easier to take a day trip over the border to Shatin for Shopping and food. This weekend's outing to Ikea, brought the unexpected discovery of a Japanese Burger chain called MOS Burger. It brings a Japanese take on fast food to Hong Kong. MOS Burger seems to be unique in a lot of their styles of food and use good quality ingredients and special sauce. It is also located in a Japanese food court in the Seiyu mall so there are many other choices of Japanese food court food as well. Other MOS Burgers exist in Hong Kong but we have not been able to find the locations. If you have the address please post in the comments here.

If you buy something from
If you buy something from IKEA in HK can you take it back to Shenzhen?
What are the differences between Shekou and Futian for living conditions?
My wife and I are relocating to Shenzhen and cannot decide which area is best!
If you can carry it across,
If you can carry it across, you will have no problem bringing it into Shenzhen from HK. But Ikea HK will not deliver to Shenzhen. If you want Ikea stuff delivered, go to Ikea in Guangzhou and they will deliver for a fee. It is probably only worth it if you buy enough quantity. I think their website may have prices for delivery.
Shekou has more expat stuff and is quieter since it is at the end of the peninsula. Futian is a more central location. But I would suggest living closer to where your office is. I live near Coco Park in Futian and enjoy the location and access to the subway.
Thanks for the info Michael,

There's also a MOSBurger on the 4th floor of the Langham Place mall, Mong Kok in Kowloon. It's to the left of Nathan Rd (if facing north towards Prince Edward Station. It's attached to the MTR and has it's own exit but I'm not sure which actual exit to use.
Ate there tonight, in fact... I didn't like it in Japan and have no idea what compelled me to try it here. To each their own, It was pretty busy but I have weird things about food.
