Im not very new here. Actually I've been here in Guangdong for 8 years, two years of it was spent in Shenzhen city...
I appreciate living here very much despite the language and cultural differences :)

I like the one in mixc mall beside 书城. there are a lot of starbucks in shenzhen, also in jusco they have starbucks.. the best is in jusco 中兴广场 i like the fact that it is open air and the surrounding is much more better. Who else coming to have coffee with us. how about you MONICA. i have friends from hunan as well, a close friend of mine here in our company.

Try going to Buji for a trip, quite a lot of Chinese in the Long Gang area of Shenzhen. If you move away from sea world in Shekou you'll find loads of Chinese mate, I've been here for 6 years and don't consider any resident foreigners as good friends.
