I think in the first instance you should got the labour bureau and find out what you need to provide to prove you work for them, do you have any contracts, letters, or previous pay slips??

Also do you have the relevant "Z" visa for working? if not this will actually cause problems back onto you for working without the appropriate work visa, same as any country, you will be asked to leave.

Aside from being deported, you have to pay fine and get your name on the blacklist- meaning, you'll be banned to enter china -forever! :(

yeh and the fine is about 5000rmb also!
