Business Visa for Multiple Entry 6 months

Hi Everyone, have a bit of a problem regarding business visa. It has 5 days before it runs out and I now hear that you cannot get multiple entry Visa at Shekou port anymore. Even worse is that my passport is almost complete (no pages left) so I have to go to Guangzhou to get this sorted out at the British Embassy. So when I give my old passport in to get a new one, my Visa will run out so I will be in China illegally. Any ideas on whats best to do to get a business visa once my new passport arrives.

I really need to get hold of a 6 month Multiple entry visa somehow as I am coming and going from China weekly.

Any ideas?

May be this idear can help:
Once your new passport arrives, you can go to Hong Kong get Multiple entry visa and then come back Shenzhen to apply 6 month Multiple entry visa or business visa.

according to the british consulate and the Pearl TV news last night all 6 month and multiple entry visas are stopped until October for the Olympics. You can only get a single or double entry visa.

Hi, I heard this sutiped news too. I wanted to get long term F visa with multible entry, Bu I think very difficult. So, I have to go to Hong Kong for my business than I have to come back to Shenzhen, but if I go to HK, I will need to get new business visa. I'm not sure get new short term visa in HK. because I did not get any visa from HK before. Meanwhile, My wife and two daughters will come to Shenzhen via HK from my country, I'm not sure that they can get any term visitor or business visa easily.

Regarding your new passport, I don't understand why you will be in China illegally, when you get new passport. I think, British Embassy should give back to you both your new and old passports.

Can you just add some new pages for your old passport? I know the US passport can be added some new pages.

Regards to your family, it's better to get visa first in the UK before they come.
