Apply For Personal Internet Banking with China Merchants

If you have a China Merchants account you can apply for an Internet Banking account at any branch by filling out the form they give you. The instructions are in English on the China Merchants web site but be careful the Internet banking software is out of date so don't download it.

There are two options for Internet banking, a free one where you are restricted to using one computer or a paid one (60RMB) where they give you a USB Key on the spot that lets you bank from multiple computers. You can then download the China Merchants Banking software from the Chinese version of their web site and use the software in Chinese. It requires a PC with Windows 98 or greater. Of course there is no Mac version.
