A job for a british Nurse?

Now many foreign peolpe come to china became a english teacher. so if you want you can arrived here to teach english.

In Shenzhen i haven't saw any foreign nurse in hospitals. But if you want work in hospital so you can find a nurse job work in shenzhen hospital, i think you will have many trouble. First you should speak chinese, Second the patient should understand what you say.

I did not expect to be able to work in a Chinese hospital, but maybe an international hospital or in a private clinic for westerners, for example doing travel vacinations
But I am going with the teaching idea, I think it will be easier.

For nursing it is better if you try Hong Kong where there are many jobs available for nurse. Better pay and benefits. However if you want to be in Shenzhen, you should try hospitals where a lot of expats live such as in Futian, Windows of the World and Shekou/ Nanshan. I dont think it is impossible, and being a nurse is better than teaching English, really. Every single foreigner in Shenzhen are there teaching English, if they are not from Russia! haha....
