ok the place is "near" louhu, however it is across the other side of shenzhen from baoan. so from the airport i would say about an hour and a half by car depending on route and traffic.


As for accomodation, i would suggect u stay in louhu and commute there by driver or Taxi, and Taxi is about 30rmb each way, a driver will be more expensive if u want return as he will charge you to sit there and wait while you look around.


Dafen is awsome! I got two "custom" paintings that are about 6 feet long and 1-2 feet wide for 100 rmb each delivered back to my house in louhu. they were that "custom" the paint was still wet lol!

when you arrive there, do not worry about needing someone to speak chinese, as most of the vendors do have a grasp on basic "i want this at this price" english.
