Bar Closings and Re-openings Updated
Printer-friendly versionDue to the Longgang Bar Fire, authorities are cracking down and check bar fire and business licenses. In the long run this should result in a safer nightlife but in the short term we have some bar closings and re-openings. It is hard to keep up with the rumors swirling around. If you have any additions or corrections please post them in the comments. We will update this list as more information is available:

I don't know where you get your information BUT enigma bar has ALL it's licenses INCLUDING the fire safety certification and has not been closed nor is it closing.
May actually be sensible to check with the owners of the bar before you start telling everybody that a bar has been closed because it is unsafe....

They're also closing other
They're also closing other buildings including those rat bags at Metro/Meten English.
The fire marshalls closed Meten Nanshan but Meten thought they were smarter and tried to open the school on Sunday and were closed again so now classes are in cafes ala training center style.

It's good that something is
It's good that something is being done and the safety of patros if being attended to rather than just the pcokets of the club abd bar owners. It is just a shame that it took the deaths of so many people to actually get the government to do something that realy should have been monitored in the first place.
