Hi. I have lived in Shekou for about 8 years, I am married to a Chinese woman, we have a 6 yr old daughter, and own our own property. The recent changes are a real pain with regards to visas as it limits my movements (without costing a fortune).

One person who is married to a Chinese citizen only got 3 months with single entry???

I know work visa is out of the question as is permanent resident visa, but I need to know if I can at least get something till we can start our buisness?

Today I went to the other Public Security Bureau office--the one for "immigration" as they say. My co-worker had all the documents in order to get my new residence permit. We were prepared for the worst after hearing all the horror stories.

No, I didn't get in any trouble. I'm starting the process of renewing my visa, which required a short trip to the local Public Security Bureau. Before I sign my new contract tomorrow so that the university can get a new Foreign Experts Certificate (FEC) and Residence Permit, I needed to register as a temporary resident (this will be my fourth year and I'm still temporary).

Is there some one can advise if all the countries on the blacklist cann't get China visa from April 18th.?

Yesterday i read a message on the Shenzhen Talk that one South Africal guy could get China visa on April 28th. from CTS.

Is that true? Could you pls advise how to get it?

I consulted CTS this morning that people there said the country is on the blacklist cann't get China visa.
